| William Pratt

William Pratt has been a lawyer, businessman, and entrepreneur for over 25 years. As a lawyer, he has represented clients in a variety of areas, including business acquisitions, transactional law, regulatory compliance, copyright, trademark and trade dress. His clients have included individuals, start-up companies, established businesses, and municipalities. In 1995, he founded Counselware, Inc., a start-up technology company that specialized in creating legal expert systems for the use of law firms and in-house counsel. At Counselware, he worked closely with counsel to develop software that would allow companies to handle internal legal matters, such as compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act, or the handling of State Sales and Use Tax in service contracts throughout the fifty states. Counselware later became Jnana Technologies, Inc., as it expanded to other fields of advice, such as financial and medical advice, and has since merged with Neota Logic. Before joining Pratt, Mong & Lee, Mr. Pratt has worked as a solo practitioner, as a founding partner of Parnon & Pratt, L.L.P, and as an associate for Susman Godfrey, L.L.P. He clerked for the Honorable Diana Murphy on the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota. He received his J.D. from Yale Law School, and has an M.F.A. from Columbia University in Filmmaking, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale College. |
| Theodore Mong
|
Theodore Mong was a Dean's Scholarship recipient and graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Mong was chosen to be in the SMU Criminal Justice Clinic. As a member of the clinic, he spent hundreds of hours working on client issues and represented dozens of clients in a multitude of criminal offenses, including theft, drug possession and DUI cases. He gained trial experience and successfully obtained dismissals and reduced charges for many of his clients. Mr. Mong is also experienced with a variety of estate planning issues. After becoming licensed, he worked as general counsel for a private real estate company specializing in investment and property management. He has extensive experience with small businesses and startups and is a certified mediator with the Fort Bend County Dispute Resolution Center. As a professional mediator, Mr. Mong has helped resolve numerous cases directly involving local businesses and gained a large amount of insight into business and contract formation. He speaks English and Mandarin Chinese. |
Catherine Lee
|
Catherine Lee was an Academic Merit scholarship recipient and graduated with honors from South Texas College of Law.
In law school, she represented indigent clients as a Student Attorney in one of South Texas College of Law’s renowned legal clinics where she extensively researched and worked on cases regarding religion and gang-based asylum claims. Ms. Lee received the John F. Ensle Award in Evidence in 2013. She also received the CALI Excellence Award in Legal Research and Writing II.
After becoming licensed, Ms. Lee has represented clients in various areas including business formation, estate planning, and immigration. Ms. Lee is also a certified mediator and volunteers as a pro bono attorney for various non-profit organizations. She speaks English and Mandarin Chinese. |
